The Best Workout Is the One You'll Actually Do

People often ask me what the best workout is.
Strength training?
Running?
Pilates?
HYROX?
The honest answer is simple.
The best workout is the one you'll continue doing six months from now.
The "perfect" program on paper means very little if it doesn't fit your life.
Some people have access to a fully equipped gym.
Others train in their garage with a pair of dumbbells.
When my kids were very young, I trained in my living room, in front of my TV!
Some only have 30 minutes before work.
Others enjoy long weekend sessions.
Your training should fit your lifestyle, not compete with it.
Fitness shouldn't feel like another source of stress.
It should make everyday life easier - climbing stairs without getting breathless, carrying groceries with confidence, keeping up with your children, or feeling stronger during your favourite sport.
When your program matches your lifestyle and goals, consistency becomes much easier.
And consistency is where the real progress happens.
Your next step
Think about your current routine. Is it realistic enough that you could still be doing it six to twelve months from now?
If the answer is yes, you're already on the right path.
If the answer is no, perhaps it's a good time to revisit your goals and how you will be able to carve time into your life to make showing up easier.
